NSU’s E2F Broadband, LLC Provides ECPI
with Internet Connectivity and Co-location Service
Norfolk, Va.—The Enterprise and
Empowerment Foundation of Norfolk State University (E2F)
Broadband, LLC recently signed ECPI, College of Technology
as a client to receive premier, secured, and affordable
broadband connectivity and co-location services via its RISE
SuperNodeSM. Through this agreement, ECPI’s core IT systems
and services will enjoy an enhanced connectivity,
redundancy, and reliability. "ECPI is very excited about the
services contracted with E2F Broadband, LLC and the
capabilities that exist via the RISE SuperNodeSM. This
agreement will have positive impact on our students and
services,” said Jeff Arthur, ECPI Vice President for
Information Systems & Financial Aid. “The RISE SuperNodeSM
which exists and is fully operational on the Norfolk State
University’s RISE Campus, is a critical technology asset
that can provide high end connectivity to businesses,
colleges, and government. This latest development with ECPI
is another testimony of this fact and its economic
development potentials.” said Dr. Adebisi Oladipupo, Vice
President for Research & Technology, Norfolk State
University and Executive Director, E2F.

Established in 1966, ECPI serves over 7,500
students per year with locations in Virginia, North
Carolina, and South Carolina. It is accredited by the
Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of
Colleges & Schools to award Bachelor of Science, Associate
of Science, and Associate of Applied Science degrees. The
average age of its student is 28. While ECPI College of
Technology is nationally ranked in the top 3 in numbers of
associate degrees awarded in Computer Science and
Engineering-related Technologies, it is not commonly known
