E2F Real Estate

The Enterprise and Empowerment Foundation of Norfolk State University *

Laying the Foundation for Tomorrow’s Technological Innovations and
paving the way to Norfolk State University’s Grand Future

Our E2F Real Estate product serves as the branding moniker for two associated business entities: E2F Real Estate, LLC and E2F Student Housing I, LLC.  These limited liability companies have been established to serve as the deed repositories for land acquisitions and holdings made by the Enterprise and Empowerment Foundation of Norfolk State University (E2F).  By way of these business arms, E2F Real Estate acquires, administers, and dispenses property in support of the university's educational, research, and business mission.

With its E2F Real Estate product, E2F is working in cooperation with the City of Norfolk and its agent, the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA), on the development of the RISE Campus™  as well as other key initiativesThe Enterprise and Empowerment Foundation of Norfolk State University *  in and around the Norfolk State University (NSU) campus.  The 25-acre RISE Campus™ , which is adjacent to NSU’s main campus, is located within an Empowerment Zone/Enterprise Community, HubZone, and a Hope VI community.  Accordingly, all of the state and federal benefits, such as New Market Tax Credits, associated with this venue can be realized by businesses that locate on this applied research and technology campus.  E2F Real Estate, via E2F Real Estate, LLC will be the deed holder for the vast majority of the parcels that comprise the RISE Campus™ .

In December 2005, Norfolk State University cut the ribbon on its newest student residence hall: SpartanSuites.  This state-of-the-art facility is comprised of 166 suite-style units that house 600 university upperclassmen
